[Clifford Street… (Pinhole Photography)]

I am now a big fan of low tech. equipment (tin cans) in fact, after many years of owning and using some very collectable cameras, I am still into and enjoying traditional black and white photography and I Still have my own darkroom and I hope to keep it for a good while yet. My latest interest is in lensless imaging „pinhole photography“…

[MIDIbox SID… (MB-6582 by Wilba)]

[Pix of MB-6582 | MIDIbox SID Synthesizer V2 project by Wilba]

* I want a small case, not a 19″ rack case, or a refurbished C64 case (done that already!)

* I want to layout the PCBs (cos I love doing that!)

* I don’t want lots of little PCBs to mount

* I don’t want a mass of internal wiring

* I want it to look commercially-made and not obviously DIY, both externally and internally.

* I don’t want screws visible on the front panel!

…the C64 – can produce awesome sounds like a modern synth? Did you ever build a low-budget synthesizer by your own? Well, maybe the MIDIbox SID could be interesting for you. :-)

[…] The Graffiti Research Lab is dedicated to outfitting graffiti writers, artists and protesters with open source tools for urban communication. The goal of the G.R.L. is to technologically empower individuals to creatively alter and reclaim their surroundings from commercial and corporate culture. G.R.L. agents are currently working in the lab and in the field to develop and test a range of experimental technologies for the state-of-the-art graffiti writer.
