If a document comes from the Chinese government, the entire Chinese dissident community and diaspora can freely scrutinize and discuss it; if a document arrives from Iran, the entire Farsi community can analyze it and put it in context. Gegen den Arbeitszwang im gegenwärtigen Deutschland
“Ja,” werden jetzt viele sagen, “das hat es gegeben!” Im Dritten Reich, da waren rd. 7,6 Millionen Menschen in den Dienst der deutschen Wirtschaft gezwungen worden. Die meisten werden sich an die “Stiftungsinitiative der Deutschen Wirtschaft” erinneren und daran, dass dieselbe erst auf massiven internationalen Druck zu Stande gekommen ist. Erst nachdem die Deutschland AG, die über den nationalen Zusammen- bruch von 1945 hinaus und nachhaltig von Zwangsarbeit profitiert hatte, Rufschädigung und damit globale Absatzverluste fürchten musste, waren deutsche Wirtschaft und Politik bereit, sich unserer historischen Verantwortung zu stellen. Einige werden sagen, dass es damit aber auch gut sei. Irgendwann einmal müsste auch ein “Schlußstrich” gezogen werden. Nach mehr als sechs Dekaden hätten wir anderes zu tun, als in steter Vergangenheitsbewältigung zu verharren…
Wir, die wir diese Website betreiben, meinen, dass wir in der Tat die Zukunft zu bestehen haben. Eine Zukunft, die mehr als ungewiss ist und von der wir nichts zu erwarten haben werden, insofern wir nicht allererst die Gegenwart zukunftsfähig zu gestalten in der Lage sein werden. Und damit dies geschehe, haben wir den Blick zurück notwendig! Die dunklen Stunden unserer - deutschen - Geschichte sind noch nicht so fern, alsdass das Bewußtsein ihrer die neue Berliner Realpolitik nicht ohne wenn und aber verbieten würde. Wir sind deshalb wohl beraten, unsere Vergangenheit stets gegenwärtig zu halten! - Zwangsarbeit? In Deutschland?
Ja, die gibt es! Gerade hier und heute gibt es die! Langzeitarbeitslose, Migranten und Strafgefangene werden in großer Zahl - unter Sanktionsandrohungen von staatlicher oder privatunternehmerischer Seite - in ausbeuterischer Absicht und gegen ihren freien Willen zu Zwangs- und Pflichtarbeit gezwungen.
