MIDIBox AY 3 8912

Notiz: AY-3-8912 Sound Interface
Es hat einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen, bis sich mein Gehirn in eine der möglichen Mikrochip-Sprachen hinein hat zwingen können. Wenn schon, dann Assembler. Es war lange schon ein sonderlich schwärmerischer Wunsch mit den Chip Registern in Kontakt zu treten. Es begann ganz unbedarft mit den 74iger TTL Baureihe am Ende der 80iger Jahre. Nun habe ich mich vorgetastet zum Mikrocontroller PIC18F452 um mit dem AY-3-8912 akustischen Kontakt aufzunehmen.

* I want a small case, not a 19″ rack case, or a refurbished C64 case (done that already!)

* I want to layout the PCBs (cos I love doing that!)

* I don’t want lots of little PCBs to mount

* I don’t want a mass of internal wiring

* I want it to look commercially-made and not obviously DIY, both externally and internally.

* I don’t want screws visible on the front panel!
